Members of Beech Hill College Film Club are delighted to have reached the National Final of Fresh Film Festival. The festival is the largest of its kind in Ireland and received over 450 submissions for its Young Filmmaker of the Year competition. The Regional Heats were held in the Odeon Cinema in Dublin on Wednesday, 3rd March and Beech Hill College film ‘Shadows of the Mind’ is one of 60 films to reach the National Final. There is a link to ‘Shadows of the Mind’ on Beech Hill College Facebook page.

Beech Hill College Film Club was established in January 2016 by Mrs. Foster and a group of eager students. The club meets every week and have been working on a number of exciting projects, including filming a promotional video for the school and entering film competitions. The promotional video can be viewed on the school website (www.bhc.ie) and was also included in the promotional film for the Education and Training Boards of Ireland Conference.

The staff and students of Beech Hill College are very proud of such an amazing achievement and wish the members of the Film Club all the very best for the final, which will take place in Limerick on 30th March.
