On Friday 29th of September TY students from Beech Hill College attended the ready steady cook, cookery competition at the Taste of Monaghan Festival. The event took place in the specially erected marquee in front of a packed audience. Two Beech Hill College Transition Year students Amelia Bonk and Marti Benti volunteered to help competing local chefs Wyatt (from taste of Tuscany) and Sean (from Blasta). Beech Hill College students are no strangers to cooking as all TY students in Beech Hill College complete a module in international cookery. The students thoroughly enjoyed the experience of watching chefs create culinary delights under pressure!
